I am not taking the plastic off of my i-pod!

Today has been an uneventful day.

Woke up went to school for an hour then came back. Thought about having lucnh then decided i couldnt be bothered to make myself anything, so i just took a couple of slices of salami and just ate it. And thats the day so far
I pretty pleased with my i-pod nano though. All my friends keep giving me stick saying that i should take the plastic covering off of it - but i cant it protects it from all the scratches and people fingers!

SO I AM NOT TAKING THE PLASTIC OFF MY IPOD!!!!

Changes

Usually I check the www.total-web-design.com forum everyday. its a great community and i enjoy chatting to the people there.

But now since Highbury have gone bust and Imagine has taken over and no one really knows what will happen in the future, some of the members there set up a new forum for us out of the kindness of their hearts, which is great becasuae it means we all get to stay in touch and still get to talk about sheer nonsense.

I got my ipod nano

yeah it came just now, it was sitting on the table waiting for me as i came home.

i got the black 4gb one. it was such a breeze to install and now the thing is updating all of my songs. the only problem is i think i set the language up for japanese. i wont know until it stops updating

i cant believe how tiny it is. and boris was right, even the packaging was sexy. lol anyway
im off to read the manual to figure out how to work the bloomin thing

My Gran Was Robbed Tonight :(

This day has been well really awful.

i woke up tired from my shift at waitrose last night, i watched National Treasure on DVD, that was okay. I went to work at 1pm and straight away i was shelving and doing all this 3 point check business (zzzzzzz). I finally finish work and i call my mum to come pick me up, but no ones home and shes not picking up her mobile. So i start walking home in the dark down flippen barnet high street!

I had to keep looking around me to make sure i wasnt be followed. it was creepy. Anyway i get home and all the lights are no as well as the TV but no one is in. (i don’t know how many times my parents complain at us for leaving applicances on when we are not using them). i then get a call from my mum, telling me my gran has been mugged.

i can’t believe it. She is an 82 year old woman. She was getting her money out of the cash point and some thug stole it all! i am so angry right now. My mum is with her now over there i wish i was. Im trying to find out all the details but my mum said she’ll tell me later coz she wasnts to be with her mum right now.

This is the second time my gran has been robbed. Firstly it was her home and they literally took everything!

I guess im just glad shes okay. Shes stong my gran is. Plus my feet are killing me, ive never felt such pain!!!

My ipod hasnt come yet, they said it owuld be here by tuesday…im so excited

I keep changing my theme

i changed my theme to a really nice one but suddenly all my links disappered, so i decided to change it to this one instead (ocadia 1.1). it looks quite nice and i have used it before so i thought id go back to it.

Im going to work tonite but im really tired, so im gonna stop blogging and start sleeping as i am going to have to get up in a few hours, go out in teh freezing cold and work till late

oh well!

Yeah so i came to wordpress, after trying out various other web blogging places (msn space, myspace, blogger - didnt really post more than a few times on each and myspace, youll be lucky if you get one). I left to host my blog on my personal web space. But after all the flippen hassle with file uploading, web space, bandwidth, backing up databases. i have decided i am staying put here! Im just glad i didn’t delete this blog. As its the only one ive ever really blogged in properly!

now i just need to upload my posts from the version of wordpress i installed in my blogs and hope that it works! i suck with RSS!

Google Page and Feeling Kinda Sick

So day two of those vitamin pills and i woke up feeling a bit sick, first if all i thought they were the pills, but i took another one anyway just incase it wasnt. and i still felt stick for most of the day. but now im feeling a bit better.

Also i was on www.total-web-design.com, a forum i visit every day. and someone reported on Google now letting users create their own web pages. You can go here to check out the thread about it. or go straight to the google page here.

You need an account with google to be ‘let in’ as it were. If you dont have one email me and ill send you one. twilightown [at] gmail DOT com. Replace the [at] with @ and the DOT with . - obviously!

It looks okayish, probably one of the better free web page builders out there, but personally nothing beats a web page done by hand! i think it is done with ajax, like every other new thing google keeps popping out with.
its definetly worth a look. You can code the html striaght out if you wish on the page. You can check out what i knocked up using one of the templates in a few minute here. Im not sure what all the features can do but it most definetly looks promising.

hang on a minute i’m having a premonition - i see…i see… Google taking over the world!

I cant swollow those flippen pills

bascally i’ve been very tired and have been sleeping alot, i know i should go to the doctor, but i just dont have the energy too. so my sociology teacher keeps going on about vitamins and stuff (beroccas and a-z’s). so i decided to finally follow his advice.
so i went into boots and got myself some a-z vitamins. and they are absoluelty massive. i tried to swollow it but couldn’t! i had my six freinds shouting at me all different ways to do it. so i bit (bited) it instead hoping that would help it go down - it didnt. so more shouting from my friends telling me not to bite the damn thing…after ive bitten it!

so then i finally take a huge gulp of water, and it goes down. i really didnt think it would. now for the next 60 days i will be taking them again. (one a day). hopefully though i will see some imporvements…with me not being so tired all the time. if i dont get better that will just be an excuse to not go to college anymore

i also joined this blog mad thing, i encourage you to join especially if you want people to view your blog - which i do. The site hasn’t offically launched yet but they are offering pre launch sing ups. so why not? thats what i say!
