Brain Academy 2006 launches geek hunt

The Brain Academy is running a competition for a budding computer scientists.

University of London organiser Dr Paul Curzon said: “Most of us use computer science in our day to day lives without even realising it; and our innovative new MSc in Digital Performance will create graduates with the technical skills and artistic flair ready to make a difference in the entertainment industry.

says University of London organiser Dr Paul Curzon. Source. Winners will get the chance to study at Queen Mary’s Univeristy in London and one person winning a full schloarship, as well as lots of future employment oppurutnities. The competition is hoping to attract upcoming computer scinetists.

There are three rounds to the competition, the first being a web hunt, there are more details about the competition and each stage here at the brain academy website.

Sounds like a good opportunity for young people who want to get into computer science. I persoanlly do not think i will be entering 1) because i never want to study at Queen Mary’s and 2) Computer science is interesting but not really my thing and 3) i dont htink ill really have a chance anyway, but you can try it out for yourself, good luck.
